I generally never connect there, but some LGA connections (new D to new G, for example) are going to be absolutely brutal.
Just did the math based on the schematics and what I know about the new LGA layout. The longest possible connection at the completed LGA will be Gate 65-ish (depending on how they number the gates in the D concourse) to Gate 98 -- from the end of the new D Concourse to the end of the G Concourse, through the Headhouse. That charts to just over a 2/3-mile walk (3,650 feet) -- almost exactly the distance from B51 to the escalator to domestic baggage claim at JFK T4.
Unless construction phasing has changed, that connection will exist (at least temporarily) the day the new headhouse opens, since the construction phasing has demolition of the old D concourse and completion of the new F concourse ahead of closure of the old C gates. Pack some comfortable walking shoes come next spring.
