No checks at all at JFK just now. They did scan my passport at the gate for my SFO-JFK flight, but that was it once airside.

Did think I might have been upgraded to AA F as my seat changed from 3A to 1A, but alas, an aircraft swap to one of less desired 777-200s with those reversed seats. Less storage space than BA!
