I’m Diamond with Hilton through Mar ‘23, and halfway there for ‘23-24. That’s plenty of room to explore free agency. Just moved about 15 nights out of Hilton properties for Jan/Feb.
It’s partly because of the reduction in benefits. It’s mostly because Hilton has, IMO, demonstrated contempt/disdain for hotel guests through the entire rollout and implementation of this program.
I’m well aware that the grass is not greener… and I’ll likely still have several Hilton nights each year… but I will no longer blindly book HH-flagged properties.
