The problem is, increasing the amounts won't matter when the hotels raise the cost of breakfast/coffee, etc., to match. We'll still end up paying out of pocket unless an Honors breakfast is provided to include coffee and tax. Meanwhile, HGIs charge over $10 for breakfast, and I'm batting over .500 at screwed up receipts when places don't know how to apply the credit properly (or just do it however they want).
This F&B credit is a GIGANTIC slap in the face to those of us who earned status by nights in beds (and continued to EARN status the past 2 years).
