As a USAican immigrant, I'm often asked what I miss most about home. Besides the obvious answer of friends and family, my stock response is "street signs that can be read from any approach and 20th century plumbing."

And +1 on fixing the departure showers. I've only ever had to use them once when Thames Water had a major leak, but they were sad even compared to the worst showers I've encountered in AAdmiral's Club non-flagship, non-hub lounges.
