I flew the 223 in J over the weekend, and based on BT's earlier comments, I switched from 3A to 1C. Block time ended up being 5 hours on the nose, and I will say, it's a long flight in this aircraft. I'm only 5'10" and I found the bulkhead row a bit squeezy, so I'd recommend avoiding if you are any taller. With the 6" seat recline, it does look very cramped in rows 2 & 3 as well, and of course, given the origin of my flight, everyone had their seat jammed back as far as it would go. I think the extra 1" of pitch in the Max8 makes a huge difference.

It's a nice aircraft, but not the most comfortable for longer missions.
