Why try to get all these extra bonus points if United (or some other company) turns around, catches the mistake and takes them away?
Because it
sometimes never hurts to
try. And
sometimes the miles/points stick.
Advise to everyone: Just don't get mad if someday the miles get zapped by an audit. And don't accuse others of snitching and blowing a "good deal." Remember, it's not always a simple God's will or somebody else's fault. IMHO.
