If they then go back to note that she didn't pay for it, I could point out most of the stay was under my name, so I still should've gotten points for a good chunk of charges.

Just went back through our year of stays, and I only found one stay where I paid for it, but it was her account... in that instance we still received points.

The T&Cs sure say one thing, but is it a common complaint that people aren't getting their points because they used a spouse's credit card? I'm sure a ton of people employ this method for the purpose of meeting minimum spend requirements. Surely it would be a hot topic if points weren't posting for that reason.

Anyways, I'm doubtful this is the reason I'm struggling to get my points credited, just worried they could use that as their reason if they really insist on refusing me my points.
I don't think it's a common trick, but I did get burned on it once by a property in India that happily took a relative's card to pay for both of the two rooms we had booked under my name and then happily refused to credit me (or the relative) any of the points. I've had several stays where I've used my wife's card to pay for the room (perhaps to meet a minimum spend etc) and the points posted just fine. But exceptions don't disprove the rule.
