Why is "Airbus" repeated twice in Airbus A320 or "Embraer" twice in Embraer E175?

Hi, let me just start off by saying I was not just sure which forum to post this in as it does not pertain to a particular airline and was just wondering fellow flyertalkers opinions.

When people talk about an A320 they could say A320, Airbus A320, or Airbus 320

Now I know saying A320 is the easiest and simplest, but let's say you wanted to say the full name and type of aircraft, would you say Airbus A320, or Airbus 320. I think most people say Airbus A320, and yet really you are just repeating the word airbus twice. So I feel like it makes more sense to say Airbus A320, and yet I question whether this sounds right?

Same goes for Embraer

They have the E175
but if I wanted to say the name and the type should I say Embraer E175 (repeating Embraer unnecessarily), Embraer ERJ175 (repeating Embraer and unnecessarily adding RJ/ regional jet) or the most logical, just plain old Embraer 175
same goes for the Canadair CRJ 700/900, should you say Canadair C700 (I have never heard it called this), Canadair CRJ700 (I have almost always heard it called this) or Canadair 700 (though I think this is most logical, I have never heard it called this)
In The Bombardier q400 the q actually has a meaning (quiet) and while the Airbus A320 is just repeating the word airbus twice
Ok, well I was just wondering how you all think these particular aircraft should be read
Boeing does not call their aircraft Boeing B737, lol
