With Asia mostly locked down, where can we go in Mexico with nice beaches but also is close to culture and history, like Balinese beaches are close to Ubud and temples on the island? Bonus if prices match those of Bali! Thanks in advance
Most Mexican beach towns are resorts catering to tourists who come for sun,beach, food, booze and partying...... so you have to search for authentic culture and experiences off the main strips. If you are looking for ancient sites mixed in with beaches look to the Yucatan. I think of Mexican culture as good food no one speaks English.
