With inflation hitting wallets harder, higher cost of everything is going to push a family booking a vacation or going to visit relatives to make a key decision: fly or drive. Give them a lower cost option with more restrictions and they might choose to fly that 600-800 mile distance rather than drive 14 hours.

As previously mentioned, the legacies offering no change fees likely took a big share of WN’s business away. WN needs to at least match the Basic Economy level offering to try to win some back.
how exactly without creating a large system change?

so FA will now need to regulate who brings what on a plane beyond a 2 bag count?

going to non refundable/ transferable is a big legal issue if they have another meltdown in their system.

it’s fare easiertoenhance some benefits by creating something betweennanytime and wanna.
