We are currently staying at The Cape, and the new Director of Operations for The Cape, worked at Solaz. We spent quite a bit of time chatting with her this morning and we didn't specifically ask her what happened, but she did say that Solaz will likely reopen by next November (2022) at the latest and it will reopen under a Marriott brand.

When we drove by our the property yesterday, there were construction crews and scaffolding everywhere.
