I think I might have flown TW F on an L1011 once, but I don't really remember that experience, though it was probably good.

The one flight from my childhood that stands out was the first leg of CO1 (IAH-LAX) on a DC10. My JL F flight NRT-LAX is the only one that tops that (i.e. even SQ, CX, and NH were no match for the CO flight). I was simply astounded by how good the food and service were. I had a few other CO F experiences, but iirc flight #1 was its flagship route so they kicked things up a notch.
