Apparently TD and Aeroplan are offering an effective 20% points discount (a return of 20% of points once trip is complete) to those holding TD Aeroplan cards on all Aeroplan bookings made between Dec 10 2021 and Dec 21 2021 for trips taken before June 30 2022.
Applies to vacations, car rentals, hotels and gift cards as well.

From the T&Cs:
The number of Aeroplan points eligible to be credited back pursuant to the Offer will be credited back to the Participating Cardholders Aeroplan account within 6 to 8 weeks after the travel is completed.
This is going to be a hassle to track and as usual, I don't exactly trust AC/AE to manage this cleanly. That being said, I still ended up booking something because of that promo, so I guess AC wins.
