Considering this is the second time that United is extending benefits to people who are not flying or spending enough I am pissed. If these 1Ks start business travel again and are considered "so revenue generating" then if they take 1 or 2 hops over an ocean this next year they will hit their 1K status on spend alone early in the year and not take those benefits away from people like me who actually traveled through the pandemic. If you don't hit the requirements you shouldn't be getting benefits! I find it funny how much entitlement there is with people who only hit status due to money they don't even spend themselves and are "upset" if they don't get benefits which are not earned. United should have given them Plat status and said "hope you start flying again".
Perfecto post!

I qualified for 1K in April of this year. That won't happen again.
