Yikes, I can't believe this thread is still alive

. There will be a trip report to follow. Counting the days.....
Good options seem to include:
Dubai (favourite amongst my crowd) - EXPO sounds amazing, and something I wish I had been aware of
Oman
Maldives (my choice)
Antigua
Florida (although weather not guaranteed)
If fully vaxxed then Tenerife would be an option
Those of us who choose to travel in these uncertain times have to plan for the unexpected and that includes having the means to cope with needing to quarantine abroad. Indeed, my kids school has asked those of us travelling over Christmas to be prepared for the unexpected and take school iPads with us to facilitate remote learning in the event of unexpected quarantine. 10 days at the Holiday Inn Heathrow would be something I would avoid at all costs but having to extend our trip and be confined to our own little beach hut paradise for an extra period of time would be bearable even if it came at significant cost. Both kids had Covid just over 90 days ago and are showing negative on LFTs. Mr NW and I are both triple jabbed. And the reality is that unless we frequent shopping malls and theme parks (not an option in the Maldives) there is far less chance of catching Covid on a beach, round a pool or in an outdoor restaurant that there is back at home in the middle of Winter.
