As someone who travels a lot and also having a father who retired from the airline industry and now works in the baggage industry, we have both done extensive research on this subject....I prefer travel pro and he prefers the much more costly Briggs and Riley ( he is correct, but they are more than I want to spend). Keep with the travel pro not only is $150 a good deal, but you will find that the "Crew" travel pros are stitched better than most luggage and will not come unstitched at the seems for years. I cannot speak for the non-crew lines....they don't seem as well made. I have one travel pro piece that my father gave me that is over 20 years old and all I have had to do was change out the wheels for Rollerblade wheels (the size Rollerblade wheels escapes me at the moment, but there is a site called something like flightattendantshop.com that sells them also). The bag is still 100% stitch solid after 20 years of solid use by two people.
