Chevy Tahoe and Suburban are basically the same, but why is Suburban an upgrade?
In my on-going saga of driving around with 3 other big guys like me over the last couple of weeks...
I was picking up from National earlier this morning. This time, I had the proper reservation for a Chevy Tahoe because I called them directly last night to confirm that the vehicle was actually in the lot.
However, as I walked to the spot where the Tahoe was parked, I noticed a Suburban next to it. I know they are basically identical, except for the extra trunk space in the Suburban. I walked back inside and asked if I could swap it for the Suburban. The guy was nice, but he insisted that I had to pay a $50 upgrade to go from the Tahoe to the Suburban. He looked like a fresh new employee and didn't seem like he knew what he was doing. His supervisor(or manager) was handling a "difficult" customer at the other end of the counter. I decided not to bother and drove away in the Tahoe.... So.... do Tahoe and Suburban belong in the same class?
Thanks!
