If the agent knows how to do what you want, it is technically possible. Maybe you would need to keep 1 Avios. However probably goes against the internal rules so not sure they will do it or not. If there is an option to book it with BA (even on a CX or other one world operated flight) then you might get lucky with some explanation. However as others said the rules above are correct.
