Interesting, I think it makes sense and may actually help the hotel as it's a great property for what it is, but if guests have the perception that WA is a true luxury brand like FS or RC then they're going to be disappointed with this property every time. For what it is, huge property with casita style rooms, charm, lots of pools, lots of outdoor space, it really can't be beat, but it's not a true luxury hotel, and if expectations are managed accordingly it's in everyone's best interest. I think they could maybe make a mini WA inside the hotel like maybe 20 rooms with a dedicated check-in and service team, dedicated pool, etc., if the market supported it.
