The acceptance of a piece of paper for id that is only a mail label is up to the ticket counter people. It is not supposed to be done. The FAA sends agents to the ticket counter to check and see if fake identification is accepted. If it is there is a big fine for the airlines. There was a guy that went through the other day with an space alien ID and got all the way to the checkpoint. Airserve would not allow it and told him to produce something else. HE whipped out a doctored ID with a wig and big buck teeth on it and the last we saw of him, he was being taken away in handcuffs.
