Qantas Call Centre - 4+ hour wait?!
Hi there,
I transferred points from Amex and booked a first class flight on CX through Qantas FF. CX changed planes operationally and moved me to business class, but no refund. Long story short: I canceled the flight. I was promised a refund of everything.
Problem: It’s been more than a month at least and I’ve not received any refund of points.
For the initial situation, I made 3+ calls. I waited 4 hours on one call, 6 hours on the second call, and 4.5 hours when I FINALLY got through.
Well, with this refund situation, I’ve now called 4 times so far. Waited 2 hours, waited 1.5 hours, waited 2 hours, didn’t get through on any of those calls. I just waited 3 hours and 45 minutes. It rang. The answer?
It was the post-call automated rating system. I didn’t get any human. 🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬
Is there any secret at all to getting in contact with Qantas that isn’t having to wait 4+ hours?????????
Soapbox/side conversation: This is insane. How does Qantas get away with not having a better customer service situation??????? 4+ hours as the average wait??? CRAZY!!!
