Staying here for my anniversary. So far it is a super let down. The view from the room and the room itself are awesome. But thats about it. This feels like a 3 star hotel. Service is mediocre and they keep asking: "are you staying at the hotel?" So annoying to the point I feel like leaving. I understand the hotel is in like a public area (which totally sucks) and I guess they get people inside that are not from here but still it doesnt feel like premium at all. More like a beach front motel. Food has been pretty bad so far. Also I dont understand why would someone come here? There is not much to do/see in Encenitas. This hotel is very awkward, like it is meant for surfers but also luxury? How do you mix those two things?
