2 more TSUs can be well worth it if the OPīs annual travel patterns include several 5-7 night stays in international hotels. But of course not everybody manages 4 weeks of holiday each year in a decent Hyatt, in which case the 2 TSUs earned at 50 nights may well be enough for the OPīs 2022 needs...
And, as mentioned, spending 40k points to get a 30k free night certificate (often used at 20-25k hotels when expiration beckons) isnīt a good deal.
2-3 nights is a no-brainer. 8 is too much of a stretch IMO...
