The reduction in breakfast benefit, if Hilton indeed makes this permanent, will diminish the value of this hotel. The breakfast was one of the few redeeming qualities of the stay, but a $24/night credit wouldn't be more than a discount off the menu prices at the restaurant. The prices are still very much WA levels.
when booked through amex fine hotels or chase lux hotel portals breakfast was waived in full.
