In midst of stay now - our 12th since Westin affiliation. We abandoned the Wailea Marriott in favor of the Westin Hapuna as our neighbor island getaway due to the elite hostility of the former and the relative welcoming of the latter.
but….it seems now history.
the resort fee no longer even pretends to include anything of value (like parking as it once did). Suite upgrades no longer clear. The breakfast buffet (back as of this morning) no longer includes the hot line for elites as it used to…the best perk of the hotel.
daily housekeeping has resumed and they seem well staffed relative to May.
if you only get the room you pay for and nothing more as a titanium, Wailea may again be a choice due to the fabulous snorkeling, more plentiful restaurants and island feel.
