Wanting to cancel Avios booking but being offered a voucher
I want to cancel an Avios booking and instead of the cancellation being offered automatically as usual I'm being offered a voucher for future use. This is different from last week when I also cancelled a short haul Avios booking. The Avios were simply returned to my balance.
Is this the new way BA does business? I can understand when hundreds of pounds of cash is involved but 50pence and a few thousand avois doesn't seem to merit its own voucher. I realise the website is going through a transformation but will cancelling an Avios flight go back to the way it was?
