To be clear, here is the new CDC advice....

Avoid travel to France.
If you must travel to France, make sure you are fully vaccinated before travel.
Because of the current situation in France, even fully vaccinated travelers may be at risk for getting and spreading COVID-19 variants.
Travelers should follow recommendations or requirements in France, including wearing a mask and staying 6 feet apart from others.

So if you are vaxed, wear a mask and stay socially distant, you are fine. I'll be on a flight to CDG again next week. And I won't have any hesitations about later flying to that dangerous country, the USA.
