I know it sucks to be at the receiving end of, what seems to be-- at least in part, someone's else's mistake. It does seem that someone ought to be held accountable for their part in your inconvenience, since agents are trained to check covid related documents, the truth is that no one will. Letting AA know of their mistake might be a good idea. Expecting something in return might not.
