Thank you both. I’ll have to come up with a strategy while I’m still MVP Gold on Alaska. I’m also lifetime Gold on United but not technically earning that status every year so not sure it would count. I figured I would burn points for my first year of companion pass because I don’t need to worry about earning. TPA-FLL flights are pretty cheap though.
