Check in right at T-24 because I had other stuff to do, I glanced at the upgrade list and I was 21 out or 36 for F. About where I would expect to be when the flight was ready to board.
Did DL change this from the old system where the list would add pax only as they checkin?
If they did change, I like it as it gives one a more reasonable view than showing "2 out of 3" just because I checked in early..
If this has changed, it's new since Sunday since I had a flight on Sunday where I saw the upgrade list grow (and I dropped slightly) after I checked in.
What was the route? If it was e.g. from one of the non-coastal hubs the other people already on the list could have checked in to earlier flights that connect on to yours, which is the most common explanation, and/or just people quicker on the draw than you
(I admit 35 of those would be unlikely if you checked in on the stroke of T-24...)
