My wife and I are arriving in Barcelona on a Friday afternoon and have two days to ourselves prior to meeting our friends on Monday. I thought about spending the weekend somewhere in Costa Brava, but I'm struggling with all of the options. We just want a nice relaxing small village where we can stroll around and see the sights without having to drive too much. I thought about Palamós, Palafrugell or Tossa de Mar, but want to check with the collective wisdom here if I'm making the right choice. This will be late February, so I know it won't be much of a beach weather. If you can suggest any nice hotels we'd appreciate it too.
