You're calling the front seats premium (which they really aren't), yet later stating that the front makes no difference.
The advantage to sitting closer to the front comes when you're on a full flight, and want to be able to get off the plane quicker. If the flight's
not full (as would be the case if they were blocking middle seats), non-elites are only minimally disadvantaged (in relative terms) by being restricted to the back of the bus, since there will be fewer people seated in front of them.
The term "premium" is misleading, IMO.
