Hi, I am US citizen and I was planning to go to Spain for Christmas, but I was arrested and charged with Assault in third degree over a fight in NYC, they gave me a Desk Appearance Ticket for the 21 of this month. I am going to show up for that date but I will leave right after that appearance(I am not going to plead guilty). Will this situation not let me renew my passport? Thank you very much!!
