I just got approved for global entry, had my interview last Wednesday, and they said that I would hear back that night or the next day. I didn't hear anything over the weekend, so I started looking at forums and some people said they had to call and ask about it, because while the fingerprints had come back approved, the officer had not hit the final "approval" button. Well that's exactly what happened, The woman on the phone was very helpful, and she looked it up and approved me right away, along with the others that came in for interviews that night. So if you are in this predicament, waiting on approval after your interview, try calling the office you had your appointment at, although I have heard that you can call any enrollment office if you cannot get through to the one you did your interview at, and they can also help you.
