Somewhat related to the last post..... Does anyone here have any experience with getting an 'experience credit' instead of a credit for food and beverage? I am trying to decide between the Kimpton La Peer and the Sunset Tower hotel in LA and while I would prefer the Kimpton, they are offering an experience credit. I'd far prefer the F&B credit and I have no clue what the Kimpton might be offering.

Also wondering if I'll get points as an IHG member but I don't see any information in a thread on that particular topic.
