I’m going to be applying for a WN A-list status match soon. It will give me 90 days , and then I’ll need to do 6 paid one ways during that time to extend it for another 12 months.

I’m trying to time things out carefully, since my 6th one-way flight is not happening until March 13th. But I have a flight coming up on Dec. 27th that I’d like to have counted in the mix (I’ll cancel and rebook).

My question is this: I know that WN says that it can take up to 12 business days to grant the status match (and I believe the 90 days starts at the point of confirmation)….but how long does it really take? I’d love to get some data points on this.

If it takes much less than that, I may want to delay applying until right before Dec. 15th, in order for my March 13th flight to be in the 90 day window. But if I wait too long, I may also be out of luck--any data points or suggestions welcome.
