Unfortunately the TK lounge situation at JFK T1 has been an afterthought for TK for years, unfortunate as it is the station that has TK flights 1 & 2, which could be considered to be the most important and prestigious in the system. For years we had the AZ lounge, which was middling at best. Then it jumped over to the LH lounge, and I found as an E+ flying Biz that the First lounge acceptable...............the purported move to Primeclass, which I personally never experienced, and could not have been for very long, is/was a poor one as quite frankly the Primeclass lounge is far INFERIOR to LH First. However as Covid has meant that the LH closes their lounge at 6PM or whenever, this means that a possible Primeclass benefit is better than nothing at all..............Or better yet, TK realizes that it is one of the biggest 3 or 4 players at T1, and simply starts operating its own lounge. I highly doubt that the AZ lounge will ever open again as an AZ or ITA or whatever lounge, so they should just take that over, get Do&Co to run it, and then they can collect money from other airlines as well.
