I’d say VS and DL are better than BA to the US, for the lounge alone before better service and food on board IME

To Europe, it’s an hour or two, the only reason to take BA over any other carrier are basically Avios/ TP, assuming everything else is equal, service certainly doesn’t trump anyone else, at least to the point you’d pay more/ go out of your way for it.
