The best bit of GGL is the phone line but then the best bit of not flying BA is not needing to phone for simple things and the annoying behavior of disabling the on-line refund button for refundable tickets like Avios. The United App shows it can be done and that is United my goodness. I lost count of the amount of updates the BA App and website have got with no appreciable increase in functionality and that is a major deterrent. I got a great deal with BA to fly in December and now it might not happen now I regret saving a few $ since the ticket was not entirely simple (used Avios to offset some cost) so I'm guessing phones are involved eventually.

Service in the sky that I have experienced is pretty dismal across the board although I did fly LX last month and they are very close to being the same as before with the exception of the ZRH arrivals lounge still being closed.
