Don't bet on it! I am always aggreived that I can't get any points from $500 Ritz-Carlton stays through Marriott Rewards!
The biggest problem with Hilton HHonors is that the points to BA Miles conversion rate is so poor that you feel obliged to use them for the hotels, even though there are few world-class Hiltons about (especially compared to, say, Starwood or Hyatt). On the other hand, since you double-dip with miles and points for your stay, it is unfair to carp too much.
