I also have an account which I use very infrequently since I accumulate miles with Delta. Wanted to login to do online checkin but I could not seem to remember my account details. Forgot password said my email address and account number did not exist. So I created a new account. I assumed the email would arrive instantly so I did not screenshot my account number. Then when I tried to login with my email I got a message that I have more than one account and have to use my FB number which I still have not received. In frustration I tried to open another account. This time I was blocked at the last step because I already have an account registered with that email - but why did I not get that first time round? Seems to me to be some ghost account glitches in the system.
