I recently completed another stay end september at Sofitel Montréal. It was so nice to cross again the Atlantic after 18 months of transatlantic diet .

Good stay, same nice staff as before.

I booked a Superior room and got upgraded one level. I reviewed this hotel many times, so I won’t enter into too many details. Welcome gift was minimalist for a Sofitel and for a Diamond member : a small pack of macarons.

On the « bad » side, a very disappointing dinner with local friends at Renoir restaurant, which used to be a very good restaurant. My friends and I all took the dégustation menu, which was without interest. We were all of same opinion. I mention that in the satisfaction survey received after the stay.

Unfortunately, I didn’t check my invoice when leaving. I did it when I arrived at the airport and saw the infamous resident fee. on the invoice I wanted to write to the hotel afterwards , but didn’t do it as I am extremely busy at work and I had no time (I am also late in FT Accor reviews ) .

Otherwise a very good stay and I was very happy to stay here again
