thats probably true if you say it…I must have missed the announcements these ULCCs made to match UAs summer announcement of more premium seats, upgraded overhead bins to fit more bags, in-seat entertainment at every seat, Bluetooth connectivity, etc. Must have missed Frontiers pledge that every seat would have >28 inches of pitch, and Spirits announcement that they would give out free water on board, and match UAs ‘benefit’ of printing out a BP at the airport without charge…or did UA rescind the summer announcement and pledge to 28 inch pitch and charging for soft drinks on board?
i mean give me a break. I realize some in here are upset (hey…had I known status would have been extended, wouldn’t have upfared a couple of existing trips to make it, etc.). And that UA is far from perfect. But let’s not pretend they are anywhere near the level of the ULCCs. I mean, if you think UA is like them, by all means, move your business to them, and see how that works out.
