It's clear from the website gov.uk website that they are making up policy on the fly. You've now got 3 days before departure testing until 4am Tuesday morning. They are also saying you'll be allowed to board without a test but MAY be fined £500. Possibly because I messaged grant shapps and asked whether he or his civil servants had the braincell for the day.
the three days for a pre departure test is the timeframe for non vaccinated arrivals under current rules. This is changing with the new rules from Tuesday.
