yes, you get full miles in your account, but only 1/2 EQM (Alliance Miles) towards MVP/MVPGold Status when on LUT fares

incidentally, i must edit my previous post....just announced today that NW is going back to the 50% LUT fare thing. they had it, got rid of it, and are implementing it again effective Nov 18
