These point rates are too high for me considering I don't stay at many IHG hotels. You'll find better point rates with other point currencies such as Amex MR or Chase UR, but of course, you won't get elite status benefits if you use them, but I loathe to spend 60,000 yen or more per night to stay here. For example, a 1-night weekday stay in a standard room in mid-February costs 65,184 yen or 101,000 IHG points, but on the Chase UR website, it costs 57,554 yen or 34,102 UR points, 67,000 points less than IHG.
