Hoping cash only at DG doesn't roll across the network. Those registers being live again really grows my ability.
Can confirm the DG near my home in NYC went from debit to cash only within a week. I was bummed. One FD said they don't take debit... I was so tired I didn't even wanna argue w him or tell him FD is supposed to allow debit cards as a payment method to load Serve.
I'll try out in Long Island cuz they don't seem to follow NYC rules. It sucks... I have a $500 gc and so far the 2 places said no. If I have to, I'll eat the $3.95 and try Speedway if no other FD works. I've also heard it's a lot harder to do this in NY... But can't confirm. Unless anyone else has experience and can confirm.
