I'm reading the policy :
https://www.united.com/ual/en/us/fly...ge/infant.html which states:
Checked bags for child travelers
Our checked bag policy and allowance applies to children with purchased tickets, including infants traveling internationally on 10 percent of an adult fare. If a child's allowance is exceeded, the extra items will become a part of the fare-paying adult's allowance. All standard restrictions for checked bags and service charges apply.
I'm curious as to how I know if I'm on a 10% of Adult fare? I know I had to pay ~120 dollars (see below) for the lap infant ticket, so I'm assuming that is the 10% ticket that is referred to in order to get a checked baggage allowance for something other than a stroller / car seat?
I'm also curious as to whether the lap infant inherits any baggages through our status or the class of travel?
Chatted to an agent last night and they seemed unsure on the overall policy itself!
