Is this really true? I've read about them pausing/closing accounts for suspected fraud, but I am not sure I have ever heard of a situation where a traveler was told "We are closing your account because the majority of your transactions are miles transferred from Amex/Chase and we do not like this."

Myself, and probably a dozen of my friends have transferred millions of miles over the years without any paid flights and never had any issue.
